Applications will be accepted through September 30, 2023, OTDA will process your application on or before December 30, 2023, You must log in to your NY.gov account or create a NY.gov ID in order to complete an application. You may submit separate applications for each of your eligible children under the same NY.gov account. The application requires that you enter the total number of days your child was absent or remote due to COVID-19 for each month. If you enter “0”, that means the child did not have any eligible absences for that month and will not receive any additional benefits. You must attest that the absences/remote learning days were due to COVID-19. We will compare the information you provide to the attendance data that your child’s school submitted. If there is a difference between the information you provide and the data your child’s school reported, payments will be issued based on the data submitted by the school.
