Can you return opened items to Ace Hardware?
Any item must be returned in its original condition, with all associated documents, parts and accessories. Ace Hardware recommends that items be returned in their original packaging. If an item is defective after the 30 day return period, please contact the manufacturer regarding warranty information.
Can you return tinted paint to Ace Hardware?
Your satisfaction is our ultimate goal. If you are not satisfied, for any reason, with your purchase we will be happy to replace, repair or refund your purchase price upon presentation of the original receipt within 90 days from purchase.
Refunds will be issued in the same form as original payment tendered. A valid form of photo ID is required for all cash refunds. No cash refunds without a receipt. No refunds or exchanges on custom tinted paint or gift cards. Outdoor power equipment, hand power tools, air conditioners, sump pumps and shop vacuums will only be replaced or repaired if deemed defective. No refunds are available on these items. Please feel free to ask a member of store management if further clarification is necessary.

What happens to returned opened items?
Shoppers are expected to return up to $120 billion worth of holiday products, Optoro estimates. Retailers spend as much as 66% of the price of a product to process a return. But it’s costly for the environment, too: About 6 billion pounds of returns ends up in landfills.

As you check retailers’ return policies and track down boxes to ship things back, you may be wondering: what will happen to all that stuff? The answer is complicated, expensive, and, in some cases, wasteful: Some companies will take a product back and resell it, others will tell you to just keep it and issue a refund anyway, and still others will dump your unwanted items in a landfill.
And the 2021 holiday shopping season is expected to create even more returns than usual. Up to $120 billion worth of products will be sent back through the supply chain between Thanksgiving and the end of January, and two out of three shoppers will return at least one gift, according to estimates from reverse logistics firm Optoro.
“Returns are very painful for all parties — customers, retailers, the planet,” Optoro cofounder and president Adam Vitarello told Insider. So as retailers and customers grapple with the onslaught of returns throughout the month of January, here’s what it means for the buyer and seller — and the environment.
Can Ace Hardware look up a receipt?

Can I have an item special ordered? Yes. If you don’t find an item at your local Westlake Ace Hardware, we can order more than 60,000 items from Ace Hardware.
What credit cards do you accept? Westlake Ace Hardware stores accept Mastercard, VISA, Discover and American Express. We also take Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay. Is there a Westlake Commercial credit card? Westlake Ace Hardware does issue a commercial and business credit card for businesses, self-employed individuals, and rental properties.
At this time we do not offer individual/consumer charge accounts. Download the application above or pick up an application for a commercial/business account at any Westlake Ace Hardware store. When you complete your application, you can scan and email to [email protected], fax it to 913-888-8665, mail it to the address on the application or return it to any Westlake Ace Hardware location.
Returns and Warranties Buy too much, get the wrong size, have a problem or just a change of heart? Westlake Ace Hardware makes returns easy. We accept returns within one year from the original purchase date (some exclusions apply*). Can’t find your receipt? If you present the method of payment or the Ace Rewards number used we should be able to look up the transaction.
If the transaction cannot be found, our policy is to issue an Ace Hardware gift card based on the lowest selling price in the last 90 days. Refunds without a receipt require a valid driver’s license. For purchases made by check, refunds within seven days will be issued as an Ace Hardware gift card or in-store merchandise credit.
*Exclusions include: 1) Gas-powered equipment, Craftsman tools over $150 and generators, which must be taken to an authorized service center; 2) Custom tinted paint and custom cut goods (screen, chain, rope, glass, etc.) cannot be returned.3) Trees, shrubs and perennials are guaranteed for one year.
Roses, dogwoods, tropical plants and all other live goods cannot be returned. Can I get a replacement receipt? Yes. Simply contact the store where you made your purchase.
Can you take opened items back to Walmart?
If your product is damaged or defective, it can still be returned within the first 90 days if you have a receipt. This even counts for products that have been opened. The same applies for prescription glasses (60 days) and electronics (30 days).
Does Ace do paint matching?
Custom Paint Matching Come find a match for your perfect accent wall today. Finding a color match to repaint an old wall can be a real challenge. You could purchase a color wheel, or collect a number of individual swatches you think might be close to the color you are looking for and attempt to find the perfect match for your wall on your own.
This trial and error process is bound to result in a few close calls, and with paint as much $60 a gallon, a mistake can quickly add up to a surprisingly expensive paint job. Instead of guessing, you could have your helpful experts find the match far more accurately, and for no extra charge. Instead of relying on just a careful eye, our experts use a machine to accurately measure the color of the light reflected off the surface of paint chip, object, or picture you bring in for matching.
Becoming ACE in 24 Hours (Blox Fruits)
We do not need the match to be previous paint, you could bring anything (reasonably sized) to be matched. Maybe a child’s favorite stuffed animal, or a particularly beautiful leaf is deserving of a dedicated accent wall. Just be sure that whatever object that is being matched has a one square inch section with a consistent color.
If an object is too large to bring into the store, or your neighbor with the beautiful accent wall won’t let you remove a large enough chip, we can also match from images.Bring in a photo of the color you want for your walls and we can find a close match. Color isn’t the only element of the paint that will affect its look.
If you bring in a chip from your existing wall, our experts should be able to tell the sheen used in the original formula. Sheen will be harder to match from photos. If you are planning to use this paint to cover spots rather than painting an entire wall, make sure the sheen matches on a small test patch before covering the entire area.
If you are matching from a paint chip, ensure the chip is at least one square inch in size. This may sound easy, but it is surprisingly larger than the usual chips that fall off the wall naturally, You may need to remove a larger piece carefully with a painter’s knife. Make sure the chip comes from a location that does not receive direct sunlight.
Direct sunlight will result in fading, so your match will be for the sunbleached version of the color and not the vibrant original. Make sure the chip is not contaminated with caulking or primer that could alter the formulation picked up by the color matching machine.

Does Ace Hardware make their own paint?
Benjamin Moore paints will be available at participating Ace stores across the country by Spring 2020 – Ace Hardware Corporation and Benjamin Moore are pleased to announce an expanded relationship that will make Benjamin Moore paints more widely available to DIY customers at locally owned Ace Hardware stores across the country.
Ace Hardware has named Benjamin Moore its preferred paint supplier and will offer an assortment of Benjamin Moore paints to participating Ace stores in the U.S. by Spring 2020. “Since 2005, Benjamin Moore and Ace Hardware have worked together to service the DIY customer through the hardware segment. Expanding our relationship with Ace furthers our legacy commitment to the independent retail channel, while broadening access to Benjamin Moore for paint customers,” said Dan Calkins, Chairman and CEO of Benjamin Moore.

Can you return H&M clothes without tag?
6. Can I Return Items Missing the Tag to H&M? – Yes, if the item is unworn and unwashed you can return it without the tag. If you try to return something without a tag, but appears worn, you’ll probably be out-of-luck depending on the manager on shift. Also, it’s worth noting that they WILL take back an item with the tag still attached but the barcode section of the tag removed.
Can I return a faulty item after 6 months?
Can I get a return or replacement if the item breaks after 30 days? – You have six months to return a faulty item and the burden of proof is on the retailer to prove the item wasn’t damaged. They are allowed to have one crack at a repair or replacing the item, but after that, you can ask for a refund.
