Where do I evolve Charcadet?
Charcadet is one of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s best new Pokemon. What it evolves into depends which game you’re playing: Scarlet players will get Armarouge, while Violet players get the significantly cooler looking Ceruledge. It’s worth going out of your way to get either as early as you can, as they’re among the most powerful new Pokemon introduced in the new games.
Learn from my mistakes, though. I trained my Charcadet up to level 60 before realizing that’s now how to evolve it. First, catching your Charcadet. Charcadet can be found in most of Paldea, as the Pokedex shows below. Unfortunately, it’s appear rate is quite low. So while it can be found in most places, you may go long stretches of time without seeing one.
If you encounter one, make sure to seize the moment. To evolve Charcadet, you need to make a trade in Zapapico, Go to the center of the city to the area with the small water fountain. You’ll see a Zapapico citizen emitting an orange speech bubble, indicating they mean business. Enlarge Image Charcadet can be found almost everywhere in Paldea, but they’re rare. Nintendo/Screenshot by Daniel Van Boom So how to get the goods? It’s simple: You just need to beat 10 Sinistea or 10 Bronzor. Each time you defeat one in battle, they’ll drop one of the items you’re looking for.
It’s just a matter of finding where in Paldea they thrive and farming those items. Pokemon Violet can evolve Charcadet as soon as they get to Cascarrafa, the city that holds the Water-themed gym. West of Cascarrafa is Asado Desert. If you head to the northern tip of Asado Desert, as shown on the map below, you’ll find an area ridden with ruins.

For those earlier in the game, fly to the Pokemon Center on Zapapico’s east, There you’ll find a desert area, one of two locations Sinistea spawns in the game. If you’ve progressed far into Pokemon Violet, the best way to farm Sinistea Chips is in Alfornada, where the Psychic-type gym is. This is an area you’ll only access later in the game – the wild Pokemon here spawn at around level 50 – but the Sinistea are more plentiful.
Fly to the city and head west. You’ll see the cave entrance that probably brought you to Alfornada. It’s in this area that Sinistea are plentiful. Once you’ve got all your goods, head back to the fountain in Zapapico. Tinkatink is one of the cutest and most interesting evolutions in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, so it’s not surprising that people are looking to level up this hammer-wielding cutie to use it as part of their team. To find one, players should head to the southwest of The Great Crater of Paldea, in South Province (Area Two). In the ruins area south of the river is where players are more likely to find a little pink Pokémon with a purple hammer running around. However, one of these forms is much rarer than the other. When Tandemaus evolves, there is a 1/100 chance that it will evolve into the Family of Three variant. Players could have to evolve 100 or more Tandemaus just to get the Family of Three form. But there is an easier way to find this mouse family. It was discovered that every four-star Maushold Tera Raid will be the rare Family of Three variant.
But for Shiny Hunters, this makes the three-mouse family a pain to hunt, either using Sandwiches or trying to luck out on Tera Raids. For years, players have asked for an evolution to Gen 2’s Dunsparce, and it’s finally arrived in Gen 9.
However, this evolution felt like more of a troll as it just added a new segment to the Dunsparce’s body along with a few more ornaments. But, like Tandemaus, there are two variants of Dudunsparce evolutions, and one is much rarer than the other. The two-segment Dudunsparce is very common, but the three-segment Dudunsparce is the 1/100 variant.
And unlike Maushold, the two-segment Dudunsparce is the one that appears in Raids, not the rare variant. Article continues after ad To make matters worse, Dudunsparce can spawn in the wild in the caves of Area Zero, and it can spawn as the three-segment version.
- However, Sandwich powers will only draw out the two-segment version and spawn regular Dunsparce more often than Dudunspare.
- So, to get the three-segment version, players are better off catching Dunsparce, teaching it Drill Horn, and evolving them until they get the rare evolution.
- And yes this also goes for shiny hunters.

- There is a 1% chance for Sinistea to spawn as an Antique, the rest are Phony.
- And similar to Dudunsparce, there is no way to increase these odds.
- Outbreaks? They will all be Phony Form.
- Sandwich Power? Again, all Phony.
- Article continues after ad But here is the kicker, unlike Maushold and Dudunsparce, it’s very difficult to tell Sinistea’s Antique Form apart from its Phony Form.
That’s because the only thing that separates the two is a small stamp on the underside of the Pokemon’s cup. This means players must stop next to each Sinistea and angle their camera to check the bottom side of the Pokemon before moving on to the next. The Authentic Sinistea (left) has a blue marking on its cup, while the Phony Sinistea (right) does not. So, there you have it. Can you evolve Fuecoco?
Like most starters, Fuecoco’s evolution into Crocalor and Skeledirge is a simple process of training and adventure. Fuecoco breaks the Pokémon Fire-type Zodiac tradition by evolving into a crocodile form. Fuecoco will evolve as it hits certain levels, becoming a Fire-type and Ghost-type upon evolving into Skeledirge.
The key evolution levels are Level 16 and Level 36. If players find they are too attached to Fuecoco’s cute little face, they can purchase an Everstone from Delibird Presents for 3000 Pokedollars. This can also be useful for breeding, as it guarantees that the egg would match Fuecoco’s Nature.
