Who is Deku’s dad?
What is Known – 
The manga has provided little information on Izuku’s father. Fans know that his name is Hisashi Midoriya and that his quirk is fire breathing, It’s assumed that Hishashi’s fire-breathing quirk isn’t as eye-catching as Dabi’s flames since Inko brushed it off at Izuku’s doctor’s appointment as a child.
- Currently, Hisashi’s work has taken him abroad, leaving Inko and Izuku alone.
- This is everything that’s been revealed about Izuku’s father, but what’s interesting about all of this is that everything that is revealed about Hisashi was either from Inko or the creator Kohei Horikoshi.
- From a story standpoint, not including Hisashi in Izuku’s life meant that All Might could fill that father role, but why keep him as a character at all? Horikoshi could have made Inko a single mother or a widow.
There would have been no need to include Hisashi unless he had a purpose. It can be assumed that Izuku doesn’t know much about his father since he’s never revealed any of the information about him, and what little he doesn’t know wouldn’t be enough for an identification.
Why is Deku not in UA?
Deku wanted to protect everyone – 
The young hero knew that he would eventually be targeted by Shigaraki and All For One. My Hero Academia Chapter 306 reveals that Deku worked out a plan with elite Pro Heroes, including Hawks and Endeavor, All Might also took part in this bold strategy.
To minimize collateral damage, they used Deku to lure out the villains. Keep in mind that several of them have escaped the Tartarus prison during a breakout. However, this meant that Deku had to leave the U.A. to keep everybody there safe. Otherwise, the villains would go after the students there. My Hero Academia Chapter 306 ends with Deku writing a letter to his classmates.
He revealed that he was the ninth holder of the One For All Quirk, and that he needed to become a great hero. It was his destiny and he needed to achieve his dream, even if it meant casting everybody aside.
How old is UA students?
My Hero Academia combines the anime superhero genre with the classic high school paradigm, meaning the main characters are all 15-18 years of age, mostly trending towards 15 and 16. Izuku is a first-year at U.A., which is a heroic high school, and he’s older than some classmates and younger than others.

Katsuki Bakugo ( Japanese : 爆豪 勝己, Hepburn : Bakugō Katsuki ), also known by his nickname Kacchan ( かっちゃん, Katchan ) and his hero name Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight ( 大・爆・殺・神ダイナマイト, Daibaku Kisshin Dainamaito ), is a superhero and one of the main protagonists of the manga series My Hero Academia, created by Kōhei Horikoshi,
His Quirk is Explosion ( 爆破 ), which allows him to make explosions from his hands by detonating the nitroglycerin -like substance he sweats; throughout the series, he learns various different ways to apply this. Overuse of the Quirk can potentially break his forearms. As a child, Katsuki often bullied his former childhood friend, the Quirkless Izuku Midoriya,
However, after they both entered U.A. High School and Katsuki lost to Izuku in training, he began to see him differently. After Katsuki is kidnapped by the League of Villains, All Might loses his Quirk in the process of saving him, which made him blame himself for All Might’s retirement, though All Might later reassures him it was not his fault.
Katsuki later becomes one of the only people who knows the true nature of Izuku’s Quirk. Katsuki has received positive reviews from critics, with many praising his character development throughout the series and his relationship with Izuku. The voice performances in both Japanese and English dub also received praise.
The character has also consistently ranked in the series’ popularity polls, most commonly he placed first.

How It Works – 
Deku’s final quirk is known as ‘gearshift’. It’s a quirk that is activated via physical contact. It allows the user to change the velocity of anything they touch, meaning they can spontaneously slow things down, or speed things up. Originally, the quirk was only able to work on smaller objects, but due to the stockpiled power within One for All, it’s now strong enough to be used on other people, or even the user themselves.
In his fight with Shigaraki, Deku shows off the quirk’s offensive potential by using it to punch an empowered Shigaraki away at increasingly high speeds, letting him deal more damage. He also uses it to propel himself at higher speeds as well, helping him catch up to Shigaraki afterwards and stay on the assault.
Since his other quirk ‘fa-jin’ charges up via movement, this technique also allows him more uses of fa-jin, which boosts his power even further to the point where he can consistently hit above 100% of OFA. The quirk does have some defensive utility as well.

Story Impact –
All Might reveals to Class 1-A that Star and Stripe ‘s New Order Quirk has destroyed several of Tomura’s Quirks after he stole it, giving them and the rest of the Heroes time to prepare to deal with the remaining threats.
These threats include: Tomura, All For One, Dabi, Himiko Toga, the six Near High-End Nomu, the remnants of the Paranormal Liberation Front, and the remaining escaped convicts, in addition to any additional allies they may gain.
It is revealed that since the end of the War, the students of Class 1-A had continued their training with the Wild, Wild Pussycats to get stronger. “Tomura” is forced back on standby to allow his damaged Quirk Factors to heal.
Tomura and All For One’s minds continue to fuse together, sharing their feelings of hatred. Himiko is revealed to have reunited with the League. Dabi remains impatient, wanting to go after his father again, before being talked down by All For One. All For One confirms that he has a mole within U.A.
Class 1-A continue their training.
Katsuki Bakugo has developed a new technique to make use of his Cluster move, saving up a bunch of sweat for a barrage of explosions, all while wearing his winter costume. Shoto Todoroki has reached the point where control over his left side has caught up to his right, so now he’s focusing on using both at the same time.
Gigantomachia is confirmed to still be tied up and unconscious. The “U.A. Traitor” is revealed to be Yuga Aoyama,
He was born Quirkless, and with his parents both coming from wealthy backgrounds, they made a deal with All For One to give him his Navel Laser Quirk in a desperate move to grant their son a happy, successful life. He possessed the Quirk for ten years, which was incompatible with his body. Because of the deal, the Aoyama family were forced to comply with All For One’s orders against their will, or else they would face dire consequences. All For One told Yuga to enroll in U.A. after learning All Might would become a teacher. He provided information aiding in isolating the class during the U.S.J. Incident, and he was the one who provided the location of the Summer Training Camp, His parents receive another order from All For One, for Yuga to isolate Izuku Midoriya away from everyone, tearfully apologizing to him to do it.
Toru Hagakure and Izuku overhear the Aoyamas discussion and confront him, as he tearfully confesses to the truth.
Izuku restrains Yuga and his parents before they can escape. Toru’s face is briefly revealed for the first time in the confrontation.
Class 1-A, the U.A. Staff, and the Police Force discover the truth about the Aoyamas, where they are put under interrogation.
The Aoyamas reveal All For One’s threats of death were they to say anything to the Police.
Izuku extends his hand to Yuga, stating he knows he never had any villainous intentions, proclaiming he can still be a hero.
Class 1-A states their intentions of wanting to forgive Yuga for his actions so he can help them take down All For One. Shota Aizawa sides with his class, coming up with a classified plan to make use of Yuga.
The Aoyamas are taken to Central Hospital for further study. Izuku and Tenya Ida encounter Mei Hatsume again at the Development Studio to fix up their hero costumes.
The Support Course is revealed to be in charge of developing and maintaining the U.A. Barrier. Mei is in charge of creating new inventions to assist in the case of mass evacuation. Mei creates a new makeshift Gauntlet out of the remains of Izuku’s Mid-Gauntlets and his Air Force Gloves,
The Class 1-A Search Squad assembles to track down the remnants of the League of Villains and the Paranormal Liberation Front.
At the same time, a Counter-Force assembles at Central Hospital, consisting of All Might, Hawks, Ragdoll, Naomasa Tsukauchi, the Police Force, and Star and Stripe’s American brothers-in-arms. Their plan is to separate Tomura and All For One by at least 10 kilometers to prevent them from combining their power. This also involves isolating all major operatives of both the League and Liberation Front, and taking them out one by one, so that they will be unable to assist either.
Yuga is interrogated by Shota, where it’s confirmed he does not possess an explosive trap like Lady Nagant had.
Shota theorizes only people All For One had contact with after his defeat from All Might could potentially have an explosive trap within. Shota informs Yuga that he is still accountable for his actions and that he may not be allowed to return to U.A. once everything is settled. Despite this, he still has no intention of expelling him. Shota manages to convince Yuga to help them fight back, telling him not to let the guilt ruin the rest of his life.
Hitoshi Shinso ‘s hero costume is revealed. Himiko visits her old family home, now abandoned and heavily vandalized, while reminiscing about her past.
Himiko leaves and encounters Dabi who questions if she’s ready to help the villains bring an end to society before burning down her old home. It is revealed that Dabi acquired a sample of Twice ‘s blood during the War, and gives it to Himiko, allowing her to Transform into him and utilize his Double Quirk.
“Tomura” continues through his process of recovery.
It seems that the lost fingers on his left hand are starting to grow back.
Spinner reluctantly agrees to take the lead as the face of the Paranormal Liberation Front, to steer the heteromorph villains toward their cause. Spies for All For One are revealed to be within U.A.’s walls, with the intention of spurring discourse amongst the public to drive Izuku out. All Might, Naomasa, and Nezu inform Class 1-A of their plans for the second War.
At the same time, Hawks and Ragdoll inform Endeavor and Best Jeanist of said plans.
Nezu announces to the evacuees of Tomura’s upcoming completion in 4 days.
Class 1-A move into a make-shift fortress “Troy” to prepare.
Izuku thanks Ochaco for her speech to the public.
The two of them trade their thoughts about wanting to understand Himiko and Tomura. Shoto also talks about wanting to understand Toya.
The day of the operation is reached.

How Old Is Eri From ‘My Hero Academia’? 
A small, unassuming girl with a powerful Quirk, Eri is an important character in the anime My Hero Academia, After being disowned by her mother, she falls into the hands of villain Kai Chisaki, leading to the events of the Shie Hassaki arc. Eri’s quirk is Rewind, meaning that she can rewind the state of any living thing.
- This means that she can make someone younger, force them to disappear completely, heal their injuries, or even get rid of their Quirk.
- Though her power is a force to be reckoned with, it ultimately brings her misery in her first appearances throughout the anime.
- But then comes the question: Just how old is this girl? Is she affected by her own Quirk and potentially even younger than she actually is? In her debut chapter in the manga, 2017’s Chapter 128, Eri is revealed to be six years old.
Her official birthday is stated to be December 21, but we don’t know what year or timeline system My Hero Academia uses, meaning we still don’t know exactly when or where Eri was born. As time passes in the manga and anime, Eri is later seven years old.
Initially, Eri lacks control over her Quirk and doesn’t learn to use it properly for quite some time, but as time passes, she is able to use her Quirk for better things and is able to escape her past. Will Eri ever be older in the series? Is it still possible that she might’ve altered her own age? Many of these questions still remain unanswered—but one thing is still very clear: This character is undoubtedly one of the most important in My Hero Academia and will continue to be for quite some time.

How old is Dabi?
Appearance – Dabi is a tall, slender 24-year-old young man with spiky black hair and blue eyes. His most noticeable features include a set of burnt, purple, scarred skin that are present underneath both his eyes (which cannot cry due to his tear ducts being burned up), on his ears and below his jawline all the way down to his collarbone, as well on his torso and all the way down both of his arms, and on his legs as well.
- These scars are attached to the remainders of his skin with metallic staple piercings.
- His burnt complexion stems from his Quirk spiraling out of control when he was a child.
- His outfits seem to vary from time to time.
- In his initial debut, he had more of a rough and baggy appearance, wearing a loose belt, a torn jacket and pants that barely reach to his ankles.
In later appearances, he seems to wear a slightly different jacket that appears to be stitched together with coattails and rolled up sleeves. He also wears boots now and baggier pants. In the final battle with the heroes, Dabi ditches his original dark outfit in favor of a white variant, likely to go along with his white hair.
When he was his younger self as Toya, he possessed red hair that gradually turned white during his childhood, and it was wavier than it was spiked. Due to his premature birth, he was shorter than his younger siblings Natsuo and Fuyumi, but roughly the same height as Shoto. However, because of his training and growth spurt, he became around the same height as them.
Dabi later reverts back to his white hair color by removing the black dye from it with a bottle of water after revealing his identity.

Before this latest development, My Hero Academia had conspicuously moved away from the romance between Deku and Ochako, which had once been a major plot line in the story. The cute interactions between the two of them not only ceased to exist but a few scenes in particular added insult to injury by teasing romance but never truly delivering.
- A more recent example occurred in My Hero Academia when Ochako confessed to Deku that she was trying not to view Toga as a victim.
- Another transpired when Ochako announced Deku’s greatest qualities via a loudspeaker to help appeal to a mob that wanted to sacrifice him.
- This latest development is the perfect follow-up to Ochako and Toga infamous interaction on the heels of the Paranormal Liberation War.
When Toga first proclaimed her admiration for Ochako, the villain said that what connected them was the fact they both loved Deku. However, toga later appeared to have moved on from her obsession with Ochako, which recently became problematic for hero-kind when Himiko jettisoned to the top as one of the most threatening villains in the final war.
Did deku marry Uraraka?
3 There’s An Implicit Level Of Support Between Them – 
Deku and Uraraka are not in a canon relationship, not yet, at any rate. Yet for many intents and purposes, they may as well be. They’re endlessly supportive and protective of one another, as we’ve seen so many times. Deku will do anything to keep Uraraka safe and has been aiming to do so since the moment he first met her. 
Every class has to have that one busybody who seems to know everybody’s business and who has a crush on who. For class 1-A, that busybody is Mina Ashido, Trust us, it did not take her long to figure out that Uraraka had a crush on Deku. And while she hasn’t been as blatant about the reverse, there’s no doubt that she suspects Deku reciprocates those feelings.

Deku’s Father Would Best Be Used in an Epilogue – 
Little is known about Deku’s father. His name is Hisashi Midoriya, and he’s said to have a fire-breathing Quirk. He’s supposedly out traveling abroad on business, according to an extra in volume 11, which explains why he’s never at home, but Hisashi never appears in Midoriya’s flashbacks to childhood, either.
Deku’s mother, Inko, seems to have raised him mostly by herself, to the point where his father rarely even factors into Deku’s decision-making. He never seems to write to or call his father, either; it’s entirely possible that Hisashi Midoriya isn’t even aware that Izuku entered UA or inherited One for All,
There is still one good chance for Deku’s father to play a role, however. With the final battle looming, it’s pretty common for manga like My Hero Academia to have an epilogue chapter, set after everything is said and done to show how the heroes’ lives have progressed since their story ended.
Midoriya’s father arriving back in Japan once the dust has settled, only to learn that his son is now one of the greatest heroes that the world has ever seen, would actually make for a fairly powerful ending, especially with themes of family already factoring into the ending through the Todoroki clan,
It wouldn’t make much sense for Hisashi to show up any earlier than that, as he’s not a hero and couldn’t help with the battle itself, so an epilogue scene where he appears is pretty much the only opportunity for Deku’s father to still be shown. With the end of My Hero Academia ‘s story closing in, though, fans won’t have to wait too much longer to find out if Deku’s father will ever appear in the manga.
