The three types of migraine aura – There are three major types of aura: visual, sensory and aphasic. Visual aura is the most common and accounts for 90% of all auras. Visual aura can present as seeing spots, zig zags, flashes or even losing sight for a short time.
- Even though visual aura is the most common, it can still be confusing for both patients and providers because it can be difficult to tell if it’s occurring in one or both eyes.
- A true aura will usually be in both eyes because it comes from the brain.
- Most visual auras happen in the occipital lobe, where a cortical spreading depression causes a small defect that gets bigger and bigger.
Sensory aura starts in the fingers and mouth, and it can spread or it can just be a tingling sensation. Sometimes it can be a sensation on one side of someone’s body. As visual aura, it’s usually a slow and progressive onset. Aphasic aura is rare and it presents with speech difficulty.

What are the 5 main aura colors?
What Color is your Authentic Life? – Aura Reader As an aura reader I answer that question for many. As long as I can remember, I have seen vibrations around people. We all have a life force surrounding us – the aura – and I happen to see it in vivid colors. There are five main colors, with various configurations and combinations that are uniquely individual to each person.
The five main aura colors are yellow, blue, red, purple and (rarely in women) green. Usually people are never just one color, it happens, but it’s a very imbalanced situation. No two aura readings are ever the same. I have found that living authentically means being true to your actual inherent aura colors.
I see anxiety, loss of spiritual connection and unhappiness rise to the surface when a person is wearing an inauthentic color. Understanding your color is what I have found to be essential in living your destined genuine life. Many of my clients are millennial moms wondering how to coincide their responsibilities as a mother with their identity as an individual.
- I see a great number of women trying to do things a certain way, and living life through a filter of another aura color.
- This may be influence from a spouse, a family system or simply because there is an issue with the individual’s self worth.
- There is nothing more important than understanding who you essentially are and accepting that as a beautiful thing.
Moving forward in what feels good to you, brings amazing opportunity your way. In my aura readings for people, the first step on the path to authenticity is to identify what one’s aura colors are. Yellows are highly developed organizationally. They are process oriented and very direct, honest and curious.
- In relationships they value communication and trust.
- I find they are usually very creative with practical arts – design, cooking or baking, building and sewing.
- A balanced yellow is open, social and outgoing.
- An unbalanced yellow tries to control everything around them all the time- including the perception others have of them – and can be robbed of their present moment joy.
I see yellow moms struggling a lot with being perfectionists; they tend to be terribly hard on themselves. They do need to work individually. I see a lot of yellows in executive type businesses; accounting, upper level management, secretarial. However, depending on their balancing color, using those organizational skills instead to promote their own business is ideal.
For example, yellow/blues are usually in the medical field as nutritionists or therapists and yellow/purples are often into interior design or photography. Blues are the healers and empaths of our society. They feel the need to help others constantly and feeling needed is how they connect spiritually.
Blues make for amazing people to be in a relationship with. They live to feel the joy in others. Because they are so open they tend to have a hard time shutting out negativity, I often find that they take in others’ energy and often develop health issues because of it.
A balanced blue is a fluent communicator, grateful in the little moments and amazingly supportive of all around them. An unbalanced blue can feel victimized in life, for not everyone will treat them the way they treat others. It upsets them to the core that people can be so cold and cruel. A blue cannot put up a wall to anyone; they are highly affected by the relationships in their life and therefore sometimes find themselves thinking long and hard before letting someone truly into their circle.
I often see blue moms in the medical field as nurses, however very common they are teachers too. They work best with the “innocents” of our population – animals, children and the elderly. In relationships, blues moms can often get labeled as codependent and in friendships they can often feel like a door mat.
- It’s the constant struggle of the blue aura individual to remember that just because they can FEEL the emotions of another, doesn’t make that person any more important than themselves.
- Blues are such giving people, but they tend to overlook the need to give to oneself.
- Reds are the people in charge; the trailblazers.
They often know their need to be entrepreneurs. A red person is a natural leader in life. Others follow them because they have a confidence about them that’s contagious. They feel secure and safe. Reds are fiercely protective of the ones they love in their life and have zero tolerance for disloyalty among them.
- They often are in charge of others and effortlessly take risks to make sure they are in control of their own lives at all times.
- A balanced red is fun to be around, strong, athletic and personable as well as present enough to be able to read the energy of others very easily.
- They are alphas in their packs and people around them tend to fall in line happily.
I often find that red moms are labeled as aggressive and often get a lot judgment simply because they tend to want to have it all – they aren’t the passive type and can’t deal with the traditional gender roles. They don’t play emotional games; they are very straightforward and are often found at the top of their game in “boys club” industries.
An unbalanced red can be angry with a fiery temper. They can also go to intense behavior as a self destructive outlet; gambling, drinking, over working out. They don’t know where to set the limit on their own tenacity. Reds are often business owners, real estate agents, and in sales. They really enjoy competition and winning in life.
Purples are creative and intuitive. Usually they feel so inspired by everything it falls a little flat when they become overwhelmed and scattered. They’re usually non judgmental people who will follow their hearts before cross checking with logic. Purples don’t mind a little intrigue and are usually surrounded by eccentric people.
They are artistic and need to outlet this creativity in some way. Highly intuitive, purples make connections with others by being very honest about their true selves. They see through “fake” people quickly and don’t enjoy being judged. I see a lot of purples moms get accused of over sharing on social media.
A balanced purple draws people to them effortlessly. They feel amazing to be around, and others just want to experience their presence. Dominantly I see this color with artists. I see them working as painters, entertainers and musicians. Depending on their balancing color, I see them using this creative streak to stand out from the crowd.
Red/purples are brilliant marketers, criminal lawyers or strong sales people while blue/purples tend to be thoughtful writers and playwrights. They have a rebellious streak and can’t work for anyone they don’t respect. Purple moms tend to be more flexible about traditional parenting practices. I often see these are the ones who don’t worry too much about sleep training or feeding schedules.
They tend to be less concerned with being conventional and care little of what others think. An unbalanced purple is self destructive. Unfortunately this is the color most associated with addiction. Usually anyone with purple in them has faced that demon at sometime in their life.
- They are complex, and their thoughts are sometimes indistinguishable from their emotions.
- In my practice of reading auras, I see over and over again that living authentically comes from within, not outside.
- We were all created a unique way.
- When we cover that up with how we feel others need us to be, it clouds the spiritual connection.

Why is orange a sacred color?
The Meaning of the Color Orange – Some cultures regard orange as a sacred color because it balances red’s power and yellow’s perfection. Monks and holy men in some Asian religions, like Buddhism, because that dye has been readily available historically.
What color is orange spiritually?
What does orange mean in personality? – The color orange can mean someone has a personality that is bold, takes initiative, and doesn’t mind lots of attention or being in the spotlight. These types of personalities love self-expression and may lean toward being eccentric.
What chakra is the color orange?
Balance Orange Energy of the Sacral Chakra If you were to ask me my favorite color, orange wouldn’t necessarily be at the top of my list. However, I have found that it is the exact color I am most lacking. Orange is the energy color of the second chakra and the color associated with happiness.
- The second chakra, or sacral chakra, is located about two finger-widths below your navel.
- This chakra is also referred to as the “sex chakra” and encompasses the lower abdomen, pelvis, hips, and reproductive organs.
- The second chakra is defined by the water element, which corresponds to our emotional feelings of love and desire.
This chakra is also responsible for sensuality, intimacy, self-confidence, self-esteem and self-worth. As the sacral chakra relates to our physical bodies, it addresses our feelings of attractiveness, body image, and our intimate personal relationships.
- It also rules how attractive you think you are.
- If you think you are overweight, too skinny, too hippy, etc.
- Then your body and thoughts will resonate with this negative output of energy.
- This negative energy can become trapped within the second chakra areas where it eventually is absorbed and manifests as emotional and physical imbalances.
Trapped orange energy creates imbalances related to frigidity, PMS, endometriosis, infertility, and alcohol/substance abuse in order to mask feelings of inadequacy. Wearing orange clothing and makeup and consuming orange foods are two great ways to balance the sacral chakra.
- Here’s a quick tutorial to show you how you can incorporate orange and bronze into your makeup palette by Alicia Westly: Personally, the second chakra is the area of my body that I am too shy to show.
- Having delivered four children, my lower abdomen isn’t as toned as it was when I was younger.
- For the most part, I hide my tummy in strategically placed clothing.
However, I recently came to the conclusion that I should practice what I preach. I put myself on the “You Are What You Think You Are Plan,” or the Mindful Body Makeover. This makeover is actually very easy to implement. First you must forgive your tummy.
- Bless your belly for giving your children life.
- Accept that one body part doesn’t define you.
- Look in the mirror and say encouraging words to your belly or any body part to wish to change.
- For example, you could say: “wow, you really are getting firmer and toner,” “thank you beautiful body for being healthy and toned,” or “I love you, body – thanks for carrying me around!” My chiropractor also suggested I do pelvic lifts to strengthen my core.
These are easy to do at home every other day and cost nothing. Surprisingly, I DO feel toner, more desirable, and happier about my body. I am more aware of my stomach in a positive way, and I have actually lost a few pounds. And the bonus is I feel more desirable, thus I am attracting more desire.
Now, let’s talk about the color orange. Of course when you think of the color orange, you connect it with orange fruit and vitamin C. The importance of vitamin C was discovered during the 16 th -18 th centuries when sailors commonly died of scurvy due to the lack of vitamin C. Vitamin C was also the answer that the world’s oldest person alive gave when asked about her secret to longevity.
Ms. Hendrikje Van Andel-Schipper said she ate an orange every day of her life. This totals approximately 41,975 oranges, as Ms. Andel-Schipper died at the age of 115! Given the importance of vitamin C for our skin and our health, I would bet she looked much younger than 115 years old! Our skin needs vitamin C, but the body does not manufacture this vitamin on its own.
We therefore need to eat vitamin C rich foods and supplements to get this important vitamin. Vitamin C is a co-factor in building our skin’s collagen. It’s also needed by our capillaries to allow the diffusion of nutrients to the cells alongside its orange bioflavonoid partner, The “P” in vitamin P stands for permeability, as capillaries allow nutrients in the blood to seep through the capillary walls.
Vitamin C has been shown to accelerate healing and is an antioxidant that can helps to repair our cells. Unfortunately, – in fact 25 mg of vitamin C are lost with every cigarette! This is why smokers age more quickly than non-smokers. As a natural health advocate, I say get your vitamins through food first, supplements second.

- Carefully ease into the filled bathtub and place the rolled towel neck pillow under your head and neck for support.
- With both hands, begin to massage the back of your neck and the tops of your shoulders.
- With your right hand, massage by firmly squeezing your hand on your left shoulder. Concentrate your massage on the backside of the shoulders, where muscle tension is stored.
- Continue to massage down your arm in 2 inch increments using firm pressure. Stop the arm massage when you reach the hand.
- Repeat the arm massage using your left hand on the right shoulder and arm.
- Wet a washcloth with very warm water and place it across your tummy area. Place both hands on the washcloth and gently press into your tummy. Perform light tapping movements, or circular movements in a clockwise motion, over the washcloth to release tensions and restore energy for body balance.
- Next, lace your fingers together. Stretch your hands by twisting your locked fingers back and forth, right to left, then up and down.
- Massage your hands one finger at a time using circular movements over each knuckle. Gently pull each fingertip. Note: continue to add warm water to comfortable temperature.
- Rest your left foot on bottom edge of the tub. Using both hands, massage the left leg from ankle to thigh slowly moving up the leg. Repeat this massage on the right leg.
- Warm up both washcloths. While your foot is still resting on the tub side, position a warm washcloth on the bottom of your foot, placing a corner of the washcloths over the toes, and fold in the sides to wrap your foot completely. Massage over the wrapped foot, pressing the washcloth firmly while squeezing each toe. Continue to massage the foot on the sides, bottom, and top of foot. Wrap your other foot and repeat the foot massage.
- Remove washcloths and set aside.
- Stretch arms above your head.
- Remove neck roll.
- Perform citrus salt scrub over entire body. Rinse and pat dry.
- Apply your favorite body cream. I use a luxurious citrus de-aging body balm with papaya-pineapple that hydrates and tones the skin.

Give Oranges opportunities to express themselves, act quickly, use institution and take risks. It is important to remember that people are not all one color, but have all four colors. Some are just more dominate in one Real Color. Learning to observe clues can be helpful when working with people to figure out what color they may be.

What color has the strongest energy?
How We Measure Light – Light travels in waves, much like the waves you find in the ocean. As a wave, light has several basic properties that describe it. One is frequency, which counts the number of waves that pass by a given point in one second. Another is wavelength, the distance from the peak of one wave to the peak of the next.
- These properties are closely and inversely related: The larger the frequency, the smaller the wavelength — and vice versa.
- A third is energy, which is similar to frequency in that the higher the frequency of the light wave, the more energy it carries.
- Your eyes detect electromagnetic waves that are roughly the size of a virus.
Your brain interprets the various energies of visible light as different colors, ranging from red to violet. Red has the lowest energy and violet the highest. Beyond red and violet are many other kinds of light our human eyes can’t see, much like there are sounds our ears can’t hear.
- On one end of the electromagnetic spectrum are radio waves, which have wavelengths billions of times longer than those of visible light.
- On the other end of the spectrum are gamma rays, with wavelengths billions of times smaller than those of visible light.
- Scientists use different techniques with telescopes to isolate different types of light.
For example, although our eyes cannot see ultraviolet light from a star, one way to perceive it is to let the star’s light pass through a filter on a telescope that removes all other kinds of light and fall on a special telescope camera sensitive to ultraviolet light. Comparison of different types of light, including wavelength size, and frequency.
What color holds the most energy?
Visible light comes in these colors: violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. Red has the longest wavelength of visible light, so it has the lowest energy. Violet light has the shortest wavelength, and so it has the highest level of energy of visible light.
What color attracts energy?
boost-energy-colours Feeling blue? Maybe it’s time to change the colors around you. Many people report that certain colors make them feel more energetic. Learn the language of colors and what they can do for you. When you say you’re “in the pink” or “feeling blue,” you’re not just talking slang.
- You’re talking science.
- That’s because colors actually give off electromagnetic wave “bands” of energy-with each shade having its own wavelength.
- It doesn’t matter if it’s paint on a wall or a picture, a bright flower or a piece of clothing: Scientists say these color waves send impulses to the pituitary and pineal glands in the brain, which control mood, energy levels, and heart rate.
COLORS FOR ENERGY If you’re looking for an energy boost, below is a cheat sheet to the best color choices. Just keep in mind that it’s best to find your own particular color profile. While yellow is the best energizing color for most people, there is no one color that has exactly the same effect on everyone.
YES Yellow: Cheers and energizes; when you need long-term energy, yellow is a good choice for rooms and clothing. Orange: Cheers and stimulates appetite and conversation; a good overall energy booster. Red: Stimulates and dramatizes; best used as an accent color, like wearing a red scarf when you want to generate ideas or having accent pillows as opposed to four walls painted red. MAYBE Blue: Relaxes, refreshes, and promotes peaceful moods; good for times when you need to relax and recharge. Orange: Cheers and stimulates appetite and conversation; a good overall energy booster. NO Black: Strengthens and encourages discipline; a poor choice for energy. White: Serene and cool; off-white or eggshell is a better choice for energy if you have to go neutral. Purple: Comforts, spiritualizes, and encourages intuition; generally not a good choice for an energy boost. POWER FROM THE PALETTE Now here’s how to put those colors to work for you.
Get smart with art. If you find the idea of repainting your walls anything but energizing, take an easier route-which might be even better for boosting energy: Hang paintings, posters, and other pieces of artwork. The more colors there are, the better.
- Make sure it’s something you like-and will continue to like.
- Make the floor vibrant.
- Try adding a colorful rug to energize a room.
- Energize your work space.
- You probably don’t have the freedom to repaint your work space, but you can probably hang an energizing red or yellow poster or painting.
- Or buy flowers in bright colors-roses or black-eyed Susans-and place them in a vase on your desk.
Even just keeping a sheet of paper in an energizing color handy can work. Dress for success. Even if you can’t redecorate your environment, you can still energize your surroundings. Dress in energizing colors like yellow, red, and orange, or at least include splashes of those colors in scarves, ties, and other accessories.
What energy is the color orange?
The connection between orange and the sacral chakra – Orange is related to the sacral chakra, the second of the seven chakras that deals with creative, sexual energy, as well as how we relate to ourselves and others. “Overall an orange aura represents creativity and intense energy,” Kaiser says.
What is the spiritual meaning of the orange chakra?
The Function Of The Orange Chakra – The second chakra, Svadhisthana, the Sacral Chakra is found in your lower abdomen. This chakra is known as the center of our physical needs, self-worth, and creativity! This chakra is also associated with our sense of taste, communication, and action. The orange chakra is said to have an effect on:
Bladder Lymphatic System Reproductive Organs Glands
The Svadhisthana Is also associated with these gemstones:
Orange Calcite Tiger’s Eye Citrine Jasper Sunstone
If you’re not attuned with your Svadhisthana, you could experience some rather unpleasant side effects. The inability to experience joy, intimacy issues, kidney troubles, and depression just to name a few. Keeping this chakra balanced with daily affirmations is important for all the relationships you have in your life.
What chakra is orange?
Balance Orange Energy of the Sacral Chakra If you were to ask me my favorite color, orange wouldn’t necessarily be at the top of my list. However, I have found that it is the exact color I am most lacking. Orange is the energy color of the second chakra and the color associated with happiness.
The second chakra, or sacral chakra, is located about two finger-widths below your navel. This chakra is also referred to as the “sex chakra” and encompasses the lower abdomen, pelvis, hips, and reproductive organs. The second chakra is defined by the water element, which corresponds to our emotional feelings of love and desire.
This chakra is also responsible for sensuality, intimacy, self-confidence, self-esteem and self-worth. As the sacral chakra relates to our physical bodies, it addresses our feelings of attractiveness, body image, and our intimate personal relationships.
It also rules how attractive you think you are. If you think you are overweight, too skinny, too hippy, etc. then your body and thoughts will resonate with this negative output of energy. This negative energy can become trapped within the second chakra areas where it eventually is absorbed and manifests as emotional and physical imbalances.
Trapped orange energy creates imbalances related to frigidity, PMS, endometriosis, infertility, and alcohol/substance abuse in order to mask feelings of inadequacy. Wearing orange clothing and makeup and consuming orange foods are two great ways to balance the sacral chakra.
Here’s a quick tutorial to show you how you can incorporate orange and bronze into your makeup palette by Alicia Westly: Personally, the second chakra is the area of my body that I am too shy to show. Having delivered four children, my lower abdomen isn’t as toned as it was when I was younger. For the most part, I hide my tummy in strategically placed clothing.
- We therefore need to eat vitamin C rich foods and supplements to get this important vitamin.
- Vitamin C is a co-factor in building our skin’s collagen.
- It’s also needed by our capillaries to allow the diffusion of nutrients to the cells alongside its orange bioflavonoid partner,
- The “P” in vitamin P stands for permeability, as capillaries allow nutrients in the blood to seep through the capillary walls.
