There will be a 5-minute sales break between 10:00 p.m. and 10:05 p.m. ET on the night of the POWERBALL drawings, and sales after 10:05 p.m.

- Can I purchase Florida POWERBALL tickets through the Internet or by mail if I live out of the state/country? No.
Florida POWERBALL tickets may only be purchased from the Florida Lottery through terminals at authorized Florida Lottery retailers. - All prizes must be claimed in the state where the winning ticket was sold.20.
- On the POWERBALL ticket, how is it possible to have the same number twice on one line? It is possible to repeat a number because there are five POWERBALL numbers chosen between 1 through 69, and one Powerball number from 1 through 26.

POWERBALL numbers are drawn from two separate sets of balls in which five white balls and one red Powerball are selected at random.21. What are the odds of winning a POWERBALL or POWERBALL with Double Play prize? The odds of winning a POWERBALL or POWERBALL with Double Play prize are 1 in 24.87.22.
What are the odds of winning the POWERBALL jackpot? The odds of winning the POWERBALL jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338.23. If the red Powerball number is drawn from a set of 26, why are the odds of matching only the Powerball number not 1 in 26? POWERBALL numbers are drawn from two sets of numbers, so the odds of winning are calculated by combining the odds for both sets of numbers for all prize levels.
The odds for the ninth prize level (for matching just the Powerball) are calculated by combining the odds of selecting the Powerball and the odds of not selecting any of the five numbers from the first set of numbers drawn.24. How do you win POWERBALL? In the official POWERBALL drawing conducted by MUSL, five white balls (numbered 1 through 69) and one Powerball (numbered 1 through 26) are randomly selected.
- Players win the jackpot by matching, in any order, the five numbers drawn from the first set of balls and the Powerball drawn from the second set.
- Players win other great POWERBALL prizes, ranging from $4 up to $1 million, by matching non-jackpot winning combinations.
- Prior to the POWERBALL drawing, a Power Play multiplier number is selected and displayed during the draw.
Players who added Power Play to their purchase, will increase their winnings on the third through ninth prize levels by the multiplier number selected for that draw.25. How do you win POWERBALL with Double Play? POWERBALL with Double Play players who match all five winning numbers plus the Powerball number in the Double Play drawing, win the $10 million top prize.
Those who match four, three, two, or one winning numbers win other great Double Play cash prizes ranging from $7 to $500,000. Power Play does not apply to Double Play prizes.26. Are POWERBALL prizes shared? POWERBALL jackpots are shared among all jackpot winners in all POWERBALL states. All other prize levels are set prizes.27.
Do I have to claim my Florida POWERBALL jackpot prize at MUSL headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa? No, all Florida POWERBALL prizes including the jackpot are paid in Florida, like all other games offered by the Florida Lottery. For a complete list of claiming options, visit our How To Claim page.28.
- When do Florida POWERBALL tickets expire? As with all terminal games offered by the Florida Lottery, Florida POWERBALL tickets expire 180 days from the winning drawing date.29.
- Does the POWERBALL jackpot have a cash option? Yes.
- Jackpot winners may choose to receive their portion of a jackpot prize as an annuity payment or a one-time, lump-sum payment (or Cash Option).
Jackpot prizes must be claimed within the first 60 days after the winning drawing date to receive the Cash Option.30. How long will it take to get my POWERBALL jackpot prize payment? MUSL requires two weeks to receive wire transfers of funds from all 48 POWERBALL jurisdictions, so the earliest you may receive your POWERBALL jackpot prize is on the 15th day after the winning drawing date.31.
What happens to the money if a POWERBALL jackpot ticket is won in Florida but is not claimed? At the end of the winning state’s claim period (180 days in Florida), the funds to pay a jackpot that goes unclaimed will be returned to the lottery members in their proportion of sales for the jackpot rollover series.
In Florida, 80 percent of all unclaimed jackpot prizes are transferred to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund to benefit education in the state.32. Who gets the unclaimed prize money for non-jackpot POWERBALL prizes? All funds for unclaimed POWERBALL non-jackpot prizes stay in the state where the winning tickets were sold.33.

$ 925 Million Estimated Jackpot Draw Date: Saturday, September 30, 2023 $ 267 Million Estimated Jackpot Draw Date: Friday, September 29, 2023 For just $2, you could win Florida’s original jackpot game, FLORIDA LOTTO ® ! Jackpots start at $1 million and roll until there is a winner, with drawings held twice a week. Plus, every ticket purchased includes a randomly generated “multiplier” number that automatically increases non-jackpot cash prizes by two, three, four, five, or ten times! Players also have the option to “add-on” features to their FLORIDA LOTTO purchase for $1 more per play including Double Play ™ for the chance to win cash prizes of up to $250,000 in an additional drawing and/or EZmatch ™ for the chance to win instant cash prizes of up to $500! To play, visit any Florida Lottery retail location and either use a new FLORIDA LOTTO digital or paper playslip to choose your numbers, Quick Pick, or make other play selections, or tell the retailer.
- Select six numbers from 1 through 53 or mark the QP (Quick Pick) box in the panel and let the terminal randomly pick some or all of your numbers.
- For a chance to win cash prizes in an additional drawing held immediately after the FLORIDA LOTTO drawing, using the same numbers played on your FLORIDA LOTTO ticket, select the Double Play box. Double Play costs $1 more per play.
- For a chance to win cash instantly, select the EZmatch box in a panel for $1 more per play.
- To play the same numbers for more than one draw, simply tell the retailer how many advance draws you wish to play or select the number of draws in the Advance Play section of your playslip.
- Mark the JACKPOT COMBO box for a $2 POWERBALL ®, a $2 FLORIDA LOTTO ®, and a $2 MEGA MILLIONS ® Quick Pick ticket for the next available draw date.
- Give your completed playslip and payment to the retailer. You will receive a ticket printed with your numbers, draw date(s) and the total cost of the ticket. For each panel with EZmatch selected, you will receive a separate ticket with your FLORIDA LOTTO and EZmatch numbers. FLORIDA LOTTO tickets cannot be canceled. Please check your ticket(s) before you leave the store. You are responsible for the accuracy of your ticket(s).
- Check the official drawing results to see if you’re a winner! Draw results are available on this website, at authorized Florida Lottery retailers and by calling (850) 921-PLAY (7529). You may also watch the drawings online.
Drawings are held Wednesday and Saturday nights at 11:15 p.m., Eastern Time. Tickets can be purchased until 10:55 p.m., Eastern Time, on the night of the draw. Tickets purchased after 10:55 p.m. will be for the next draw. If you claim a prize on a winning Advance Play ticket before all of the draws on the ticket have occurred, you will be issued a continuation ticket for the remaining draws with the same play numbers as the original ticket. The FLORIDA LOTTO jackpot prize will be shared among winners. All other prizes are set payouts. If funds are insufficient to pay set prizes, non-jackpot prizes may be paid on a pari-mutuel basis and could be lower than the amount shown. The advertised jackpot prize will be paid in annual payments over 30 years, or as a single cash payment of a lesser amount. Double Play Double Play allows players the chance to win up to $250,000 in an additional drawing held immediately following the FLORIDA LOTTO drawing, using the same numbers and multiplier played on their FLORIDA LOTTO ticket. Double Play tickets cost an additional $1 per play. All prizes are set amounts. If funds are insufficient to pay set prices, non-jackpot prizes may be paid on a pari-mutuel basis and could be lower than the amount shown. Base Prize amounts for matching 3 of 6, 4 of 6, or 5 of 6 cannot be won and are shown as a starting point of reference for the calculated value of the multiplied prizes.
- Match any of your EZmatch numbers with any of your FLORIDA LOTTO numbers, and win the amount shown instantly
- You can win EZmatch up to 6 times on each ticket
- In this example, you matched 07, 15, 25, 36, 38 and 42 and won a total of $500
When you select EZmatch, six EZmatch numbers and instant prize amounts will print below the FLORIDA LOTTO numbers on your ticket. Match any EZmatch number with any FLORIDA LOTTO number on your ticket, and win the prize amount shown instantly. You can win up to six times on a single FLORIDA LOTTO with EZmatch ticket. How to Win The Florida Lottery will hold official FLORIDA LOTTO drawings in which six out of 53 numbers will be drawn at random. If your six numbers match the six winning numbers drawn in the official FLORIDA LOTTO drawing for the date played, you win the jackpot.
- Match three, four, or five of the winning numbers to win other cash prizes that are automatically multiplied by the multiplier number printed on the ticket.
- Players who match just two numbers win a free FLORIDA LOTTO Quick Pick ticket for the next available drawing.
- The multiplier number is generated at random, from two, three, four, five, or ten.
If a FLORIDA LOTTO player matches three, four, or five winning numbers, he/she wins an amount equal to the original prize amount multiplied by the multiplier that was generated on their ticket. If the player matches just two winning numbers, he/she wins a free FLORIDA LOTTO Quick Pick ticket for the next available draw.
- FLORIDA LOTTO with Double Play players who match the six winning numbers in the Double Play drawing win the $250,000 top prize.
- Those who match five, four, or three winning numbers win other great cash prizes that are automatically multiplied by the multiplier number printed on the ticket.
- FLORIDA LOTTO with Double Play players who match just two winning numbers win a free FLORIDA LOTTO with Double Play Quick Pick ticket for the next available draw.
Players may choose to receive their portion of the FLORIDA LOTTO jackpots in a one-time Cash Option payment or in 30 annual payments. The Cash Option payment is the amount required on the day of the drawing (or if the drawing is held on a Saturday or holiday, the business day prior to the drawing) to fund the applicable jackpot prize paid over 30 years, less applicable taxes.
- FLORIDA LOTTO jackpot winners who want to receive a single Cash Option payment must claim their prizes within the first 60 days of the 180-day redemption period.
- Applicable federal income taxes will be withheld from both Cash Option and annual payments at the time payments are made.
- Prizes up to $599 may be claimed at any authorized Florida Lottery retailer; prizes $600 to $250,000 may be claimed at any Florida Lottery district office; prizes more than $250,000 must be claimed at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
Beginning May 25, 2022, the names of Lottery winners claiming prizes of $250,000 or greater will be temporarily exempt from public disclosure (pursuant to F.S.24.1051(3)(a)) for 90 days from the date the prize is claimed, unless otherwise waived by the winner.
